Summary: Storms on the sun have crashed satellites, computer systems, and power grids here on Earth. This video segment looks at what happens when the sun throws out giant belches of plasma, known as coronal mass ejections. These ejections travel through the solar system and interfere with the Earth's electronics. The segment follows NASA's desperate search for a way to predict these events.
